前 言

Dear Brother and Sister:
親愛的弟兄姐妹：

As Seventh-day Adventist Christians we have based our 28 fundamental beliefs strictly on the Bible. Many of us have forgotten why we believe what we believe. Or, perhaps some of us joined the church with a minimal understanding of our doctrines in the first place. Perhaps, others of us understand the doctrines but don’t know how we have come to these conclusions.

做為一個基督復臨安息日會的信徒我們必須遵循從聖經教導的基本信仰28條。我們有很多人忘了為什麼我們相信和相信什麼？或許我們有些人起初加入教會時對本會信仰的認識很粗淺,另外也有一些人雖然明白本會教義但不知道怎麼為自己的信仰作見證。

Whatever the case, we understand that just before Jesus comes again, every Seventh-day Adventist will be pressured to give reasons why they hold to the Adventist belief system. At that time, many Seventh-day Adventists will not be able to weather the attack of their enemies. Notice how Ellen White puts it:

不管任何原因,我們明瞭在耶穌復臨之前,信守基督復臨安息日會信仰的人將遭逼迫,屆時將有許多信徒不能抵擋敵人的攻擊。懷愛倫師母特別提到：

Satan is now more earnestly engaged in playing the game of life for souls than at any previous time; and unless we are constantly on our guard, he will establish in our hearts, pride, love of self, love of the world, and many other evil traits. He will also use every possible device to unsettle our faith in God and in the truths of His Word. If we have not a deep experience in the things of God, if we have not a thorough knowledge of His Word, we shall be beguiled to our ruin by the errors and sophistries of the enemy. False doctrines will sap the foundations of man, because they have not learned to discern truth from error. Our only safeguard against the wiles of Satan is to study the Scriptures diligently, to have an intelligent understanding of the reasons of our faith, and faithfully to perform every known duty. The indulgence of one known sin will cause weakness and darkness and subject us to fierce temptation. . . . In Heavenly Places, p. 348

撒旦如今比往時更加熱切的以生靈為玩弄品；除非我們時常的謹防,他就必在我們心中樹立驕傲,利己,貪愛世界,和許多其他種種不良的特性。他也必運用一切可能的詭計,使我們對於上帝和祂聖言真理的信心動搖。我們若在屬上帝的事物上沒有深厚的經驗,我們若沒有對祂聖言充分的知識,我們就必受仇敵諸般謬誤與詭辯的迷惑以致滅亡。假道理要削弱許多人信仰的根基,這乃是因為他們沒有學會怎樣分辨真理與謬論。我們唯一防備撒但詭辯的安全之策乃在乎殷勤查考聖經,獲得有關乎我們信仰緣由明智的瞭解,並且忠心履行自已所知的全部義務。明知故犯的罪只要放縱一種，也必招致軟弱與昏暗,使我們屈從激烈的試探。…主必定快來,第87 頁

This small booklet contains the beautiful truths of the Bible. May each of us take time daily to review the reasons for our faith!

這本要道查經講義有聖經的美好真理。希望我們每一個人可以每天花時間來複習我們信仰的原由！

序 言

1953年在彰化市開拓傳道期間,我為慕道友的查經班寫了一套查經講義。1972年筆者去日本進修並渡假時,恰好中日要斷絕邦交,所以就在日本居留了10多年。

在這期間徐咏頌牧師任區會信徒佈道幹事,發現筆者所印的查經講義。可是沒有著作姓名,也查不出著作者。徐牧師覺得是查經的好資料,就印了500本,數量不多很快就售完。

1989年筆者又應聘回台傳道,在查經時以這本查經講義為參考給人查經。在台安教會工作時,加以修改而印發,書名也改為「要道查經」。

2005年與星期日教會一位音樂老師查經。他對聖經很有研究,所以修改要道講義並加些新的資料。他覺得查經內容很好,希望錄下來,備日後再聽並溫習,就完成了一套34片的聖經要道查經CD。許多聽的人都說聖經要道講的很清楚,資料也很多,也可以學查經法。

有些聽眾及神學系學生希望有查經CD的講義,有的人自己做些講義。因此筆者覺得有需要出版要道查經講義來配合查經CD,並加上6個題目,共有40個講題。

為了出版要道查經講義,承蒙一些人的協助,很感謝他們。李茂杰弟兄,周慧貞姊妹在百忙中幫助版面設計和打字及校對。李正芳弟兄、盧白青姊妹也幫助很多功不可沒。為了幫助理解異象,加上16個圖和表,很謝謝台灣區會會長艾約翰牧師提供一些圖片,更感謝他不嫌請求,百忙中抽暇寫了寶貴的前言。

盼望這一本要道查經講義能夠對我們在了解聖經要道和查經工作方面有所幫助。
